Rochiram T. Thadhani High School for the Hearing impaired serves a very important need of the society. There is no educational institute in central suburbs to cater to needs of economical weak Special students. To fulfill this gap of educational services Rochiram T Thadhani (RTT) high school was established in the year 1987 by Late Shri. Hashu Advani. The school for deaf mute children is recognized by Social Welfare Ministry, Govt. of Maharashtra.

Affiliated to Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination board, RTT High School for the hearing handicapped is widely acknowledged as one of the benchmark Special Schools of the Board.

RTT School not only provides quality education but also supports students with vocational courses to be self-reliant. RTT School has successfully integrated hundreds of special children with mainstream.

Students of our school have won many awards in different activities at district, state, national and International competitions.

RTT, a School for deaf mute children has completed 26 years of dedicated service to the society and is happy being instrumental in transforming lives of thousands of hearing impaired children.

To create a school environment wherein students with hearing disability are ensured quality education and overall development through need based selection of method of communication with primary focus on oral-aural opportunities.
