Personality Development

In all this process, we remember Student with Hearing Impairment (SWHI) is first a ‘child’ whose education and rehabilitation is not the only aim of our institute.

CCYM, the best NGO in Chembur focus on the ‘holistic development’ of the child, just to prove that he/she is not a child with disability but a ‘child with different ability’.

One of the aims in the education is the development of personalities of the students and RTT believes in bringing out the best in children, so that they can shine in whichever area they choose to work and become better citizens.

To Fulfil This Aim

We plan activities for children keeping in mind their aptitude, instincts, motives, ability, desires and interests
We develop interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, leadership skills and communication skills, creativity and problem-solving skills, positive self-image and self –efficacy

- Study Skills Workshop
- Conflict Management
- Preventing Child Abuse
- Parent Sensitization Programme
- Career Guidance
Under family life education programme, following topics are covered:
- Health and Hygiene
- Sex Education
- Child Sexual Abuse
- Issues related to Adolescence - Psychological, Physical, Mental, Socio-Emotional
