Rochiram T. Thadani High School for the Hearing Handicapped

The school serves a very important need of the society. The children with hearing impairment have a platform through which they are able to lead a normal and fruitful life, as they get just the kind of care and attention which normal children get. The school inculcates in the children self-confidence, helps them drop their complexes and difficulties, and gives them a feeling of being normal. The school tries to integrate the hearing impaired with mainstream, and make them fully independent and good citizens of the country.

Established in the year 1987, the school has completed twenty years of dedicated service to the society with a great satisfaction of transforming the lives of thousands of hearing impaired children from Silence to Sound.

The school authorities believe that every child has innate capacities and the Children with hearing impairment are no exception to this. Through our educational programmes we try to enable these differently abled children to develop necessary skills, attitudes and dispositions and enable them to contribute effectively towards the improvement and development of the society.

The school has acquired excellent reputation for providing supplementary vocational training to its 220 students instructed by 50 specially trained teachers including Audiologists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers etc.
